Description

The Ready Kit is the accessory bundle we photograph as one SKU: a heavy-duty 30A generator cord with L14-30 locking ends, a graphite Norfield cover, a quart of 10W-30 4-cycle oil, a copper funnel, a spare spark plug, and two rubber support pads.

It is sized around the D-series portables (D7500 and D10000) that use L14-30. It is not a transfer switch, not an inlet box, and not a license to connect to household wiring yourself.

Permanent connections, interlocks, and inlet installation belong with a qualified electrician. Keep oil and cords stored away from living spaces and follow the generator’s oil specification if it differs from 10W-30 for your climate.

FAQ

Will this cord connect my generator to my house?

Only to a matching L14-30 inlet that a qualified electrician has installed with a legal transfer method. This kit does not include an inlet box or transfer switch. Never backfeed a wall outlet or dryer receptacle.

Does the cover fit the N4000i or PS2000?

The cover is cut for D-series open-frame portables. It will not be a correct fit for the suitcase inverter or the power station.

Is 10W-30 right for every climate?

It is the oil packed with this kit. Confirm viscosity against the engine literature for your temperature range before filling.
